Sometimes it is necessary (or possible and appropriate) to place a heat source for heating and hot water to a bathrooms, hallways and similar. Or even to the kitchen. Some of the reasons:
- in the apartment, or small family house, there is not always an appropriate separate room for mounting the boiler or water heater,
- from another area there is not a suitable possibility to export the gas to the external environment.
- The need to minimize the length of pipeline between the place of heat source and various places (showers, wash basins, kitchen sink, washing machine) and thus the heat loss of hot water,
- respectively elimination the need for recirculation of warm water, often forces the architect to choose such a placement of a heat source.
This variant - the location of the boiler and water heater in one of the above mentioned rooms - is not a concern. Why?
- The shapes and dimensions of gas (and electrical) boilers, the flowing and storaged water heaters and tanks are directly adjusted so they can be built into kitchen, bathroom or hall furniture. This solution is normal and sources of heat and hot water becomes absolutely inbuilt part of modern equipment and interior kitchens, bathrooms etc. The solution is fine for suspended and stationary boilers as well and also for their associated storage heater and hot water.
- Air-intake for combustion of gas in TURBO type boilers is realized by a special coaxial or separate pipeline from the external environment and not from the room.
- The current modern boilers and water heaters are quiet, their work it is not possible to register for the current hearing acoustic background of dwelling, home, kitchen …
