Expensive materials used to manufacturing of kitchen units are veneers (mostly venners of exotical woods like masakar, wenge..) and spurted boards (high shine). If they are used to construction of cabinet, they can overprice it. That’s the reason why it isn’t smart to use these materials on kitchen cabinets, which aren’t seen or are just seen when the door is open. It’s smarter to combine expensive materials on visible places and cheaper materials on the other places.
