Furniture door (front sites of furniture) are divided not just according to their material (massive, spurted, vitreous without frame, vitreous with aluminois frame), but according to way of opening as well.
A. Opening door - in the width smaller than 60cm are acceptable one-wing door, in the bigger width must be double-wing door.
B. Collapsible door - there are used, when there isn’t space in front of cabinet to open classic door. Collapsible door could have two wings (in that case they are open to just one side) and four wings (to wings to the one side).
C. Sliding door - they are used when we don’t have a space in front of cabinet, just like collapsible door (e.g. wardrobe in the narrow corridor). Disadvantage is loosing of space inside the cabinet - there is a 10cm loss from deepness of shelves in built-in wardrobes.
D. Extensible fronts - they are used with drawers, litter bins etc.
E. Tipping and folding door - tipping are used with higher cabinets from aesthetical (with low and wide door) or practical reasons (lower possibility to hurt a head while opening door). Aesthetic is also the main reason, why the folding door is used with lower cabinets.
